whatwow is a platform for the exchange on the continuous re-invention of construction. It collects unconventional examples of construction techniques, material use, typologies, programs etc. stemming from both current research from the long—and sometimes forgotten—tradition of construction all around the world. Fed initially by the 230 entries of the Illustrated Index of Re-inventing Construction published in Re-inventing Construction (Eds. Ilka & Andreas Ruby, Berlin: Ruby Press 2010), whatwow invites you to contribute your examples to build up a powerful knowledge resource on alternative ways of construction. In 2012, a selection of the best submissions will be collected in a substantial book published by RUBY PRESS. Your contribution could be part of it!
